On February 6, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced that the conversational AI application Bard would be opened to early testers and made available to the public in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, in response to reports about Baidu’s plans to launch a Chinese version of ChatGPT, Baidu stated that its “Wenxin Yiyan” project, known in English as ERNIE Bot, is currently in the final stages before launch, with public access expected in March.
